400-408Dallas Willard, Professor of Philosophy at USC, my favorite Christian author and teacher, has had a bigger impact on my spiritual life than anyone else, especially through his classic The Divine Conspiracy.  His latest book is great too, it's entitled Knowing Christ Today: Why We Can Trust Spiritual Knowledge (dwillard.org).  Today we address the questions, "Why be good rather than happy?" and "Who is the truly good person?"

• Dallas will be teaching an all-day conference Saturday, April 17, from 9am-5pm, at the Anaheim Vineyard entitled "Knowledge For Life."  I plan on being there, but seating is limited, so register online right now at vcfanaheim.com.
