400-408Catherine Moy, Executive Director of Move America Forward (moveamericaforward.org), on site at Berkeley.  On Jan. 29, the Berkeley City Council voted 6-3 to approve resolutions:  1) sending a letter to the Marines' recruiting office on Shattuck Avenue telling them they are "uninvited and unwelcome intruders."  2) asking the city attorney to investigate whether the military is violating city law prohibiting discrimination based on sexual orientation with their "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy.  3) encouraging people to "volunteer to impede" the recruiting work of Marines in Berkeley.  And 4) granting Code Pink a free parking space and sound permit to protest once every Wednesday for six months from Noon to 4:00pm directly in front of the recruiting station.

413-423 – • Fox News, DHS, FBI Warn of Possibility of Female Homicide Bombers.  They're wearing prosthetic devices that make them look pregnant.
• Fox News, U.S. Navy Intercepts Russian Bombers Flying Near Ships.  One Russian Tupelov 95 bomber buzzed the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz from an altitude of just 2,000 feet – twice, while another circled from 50 miles out.  Four F/A-18 fighters launched from the Nimitz followed closely along.  There was no verbal communication between Russian and American forces.  This is the first Tupelov carrier flyover since 2004.

428-437 – • Daily Mail, Mini-muscleman: Meet the world's smallest bodybuilder.  "Romeo" from India is just 33 inches tall and weighs about 20 pounds.
• John Heyman, Desperation pitch:  Clemens' celebrity won't save him if he lies.  Former trainer Brian McNamee claims to have syringes, vials, and gauze pads he says he used with Clemens.  These would be the "smoking guns" if they in fact have Clemens' DNA on them.
• Real Clear Sports, Rocker say he failed Major League Baseball drug test.  He says Selig knew he was juicing, but the MLB Employee Assistant Program has confidentiality requirements that would prevent him from knowing.
• Fox News, Secrets of the Great Seal of the United States Revealed.  Contrary to National Treasure, Masons Ben Franklin and George Washington had no role in designing the final seal, nor does "Novus Ordo Seculorum" mean "One World Order" but rather "A New Order of the Ages," and all the 13's refer to the number of original colonies not ruling families.

• USA Today (2/11), U.S. Hispanic population to triple by 2050.  The US population is now 303 million, it will be 438 million by 2050.  In 2050:  blacks will still be 13% of the population, non-Hispanic whites will be 47%, but Hispanics will be 29%, while Asians fall from 9% to 5%.
• AP (2/3), Illegal Immigrants Leaving AZ, Oklahoma; going to Texas.  Since November in Oklahoma, your business license is suspended if you transport, harbor, or hire an illegal immigrant on the first offense, and you lose it on the second.
