400-408 – Jim Wilder, is a clinical psychologist by training (Ph.D. Fuller), but a neurotheologian by choice.  Neurotheology is the intersection of brain science and the Bible.  He's been a Christian counselor since 1977, and today is the Executive Director of the Shepherd's House (founded 1971), specializing in trauma and addiction recovery.  His greatest interest is teaching the LIFE Model, a profoundly Christian guide to community-based counseling and maturity with the goal to create "self propagating recovery as the normal function of the church," based on the book The Life Model: Living from the Heart Jesus Gave You – 2000 (Amazon).

558-608 – Josh Lindblom, #52 right-handed pitcher for the 2012 LA Dodgers.  Josh grew up in Indiana, pitched for the University of Tennessee and then Purdue, before signing with the Dodgers as their 2nd Round pick in 2008.  He made his major league debut on June 1, 2011, throwing 29.1 innings for the Dodgers last year.  This year, he's pitched 18 innings and with a 1.96 ERA.  Josh and his high-school-sweetheart wife Aurielle have set up the Josh Lindblom Foundation (joshlindblom.com), and for every appearance he makes this season, they'll be donating $52 to the Dream Center and $52 to his Foundation's efforts in Lafayette, Indiana.  Back on April 15th, they hosted their first Dream Center Youth Night at Dodger Stadium to raise awareness and funds for the ministry.

• LA Times (4/30/2012) Dodgers' Josh Lindblom says his faith helped make him a better pitcher.  Lindblom has become an effective late-inning performer for the Dodgers. He says he had lost his way in 2010 when he struggled in the minor leagues.

644-656 – Real Varela, and his daughter Connie, owners of Brooklyn Pizza & Pasta, on West Pico between Doheny and Beverly, (310-550-9992) (brooklynpizzaandpasta.net), recently won 4th place at the International Pizza Expo – meaning it's the 4th best pizza in the world! – and voted Best Pizza Delivery in West LA (deliveries 1130-11pm, 7 days a week).  It's AWESOME!!  One of the judges was his mentor, Dan Collier, owner of Rusty's Pizza with 6 locations in Ventura County (gorustys.com).
