400-408 – Mark Steyn is simply the most widely read writer in the English-speaking world, from his columns to his books, to guest-hosting for Rush Limbaugh on radio and Sean Hannity on television, no other anglophone speaks to more people in the world.  He's now out with another stay-up-late-can't-put-down-must-get-up-early book, a follow-up to his previous blockbuster America Alone, and it's a laugh-out-loud prescient prophecy of where America is headed if we don't immediately change our collective thinking about who America was, is, and where she's headed, entitled After America:  Get Ready For Armageddon (marksteyn.com).

Survival instinct.  Easier for a the government to dissolve the people and elect another, balkanization of America, America won the war but Mexico won the peace,  illegals into the purple states, good cop bad cop or good statist dysfunctional statist, economic burden to local gov and states not the national government.

528-539 – (:53) Rick Perry on evolution with a young boy in New Hampshire, 8/18/2011.  "How old do I think the earth is? I don't have any idea - I know it's pretty old, so it goes back a long, long ways.  I'm not sure anybody actually knows completely and absolutely how old the earth is. I hear your mom was asking about evolution.  That's a theory that is out there - and it's got some gaps in it.  In Texas we teach both Creationism and Evolution in our public schools -- because I figure you're smart enough to figure out which one is right."  The mother keeps prompting her son, "Ask him why he doesn't believe in science."
