I want to invite you to come on out for our first KKLA's 25th Anniversary Celebration event of the year!  It's next Thursday night at 7pm at Lake Avenue in Pasadena – Keith and Kristyn Getty will be leading us in worship, and our special guest will be Alistair Begg.  Come on out early and catch my show beforehand!  Reserve your free seats now by registering at kkla.com.

400-408David French, head of the ADF Center for Academic Freedom (telladf.org, 1-800-TELL-ADF), the only litigation unit of its kind dedicated to fighting for religious freedom on campus.  Today we talk about ADF's Speak Up Movement (speakupmovement.org), a resource for Christian students, faculty, and staff, to ensure that Christian students get "an education, not an indoctrination on college campuses."  We focus on the case of Jonathan Lopez, a student at LA City College, who was persecuted for defending traditional marriage in class.  He won in District court, and tomorrow, his case will be argued before the 9th Circuit.  BTW, David will be leaving at the end of the week with the Army Reserves.

413-423David French

428-437Kenny Luck, Founder and President of Everyman Ministries (everymanministries.com) and Men's Pastor at Saddleback (saddleback.com).  His latest book is Fight: Are You Willing To Pick A Fight With Evil?  Their men's group meets Thursday mornings from 6:30am to 7:30am at Saddleback.  BTW, guys sign up for the free, thrice weekly "In Your Corner" encouragement email.  Today we talk about the three things kids need to hear from their dads:  1) "I love you," 2) "I'm proud of you," and 3) "You are good at what you do."  Kids spell love T-I-M-E, and without time-talk-touch, they can't hear what you're saying, because you're living too loudly.

443-452Kenny Luck

458-508David Rosales, pastor of my home church for the past 18 years (1991), the 10,000-member Calvary Chapel of the Chino Valley (calvaryccv.org).  Today we talk about the ministry of The Whosoevers (thewhosoevers.com), who were out sharing at church this past Sunday.  Raul and Sharon Ries youngest son, Ryan, was "not walking with the Lord" for quite a while and now the Lord has gotten ahold of his life and he's reaching thousands of kids.  The Whosoevers are:  Ryan Ries Whosoever, Sonny Sandoval Whosoever (of POD), Josh Whosoever, Annie Lobert, Nick Whosoever, Brian Head Welch (of Korn).  The Whosoevers of 2010 are a flashback to those crazy long-haired, drugged-out hippies from the early 1970's – many of whom became Calvary Chapel pastors!

528-538Frank Turek, founder of crossexamined.org (that has tons of great resources and videos), and author of Correct, Not Politically Correct: How Same-Sex Marriage Hurts Everyone and I Don't Have Enough Faith To Be An Atheist.

555 – [2:00] "The Money Guys" – Robert Micone and Bill O'Connor from Applied Financial Planning at 866-SEEK-COUNSEL (SeekCounsel.com).

558-608Dan Nelson & Shawn Murphy, Dan is the CEO and President of Trinity Financial Services (trinityfinancialservicesinc.com 800-466-2055), an organization committed to helping you with loan modification and debt settlement.

As the former owner of a collection company for 10 years, he today uses that expertise to help borrowers, rather than profit from them.  He tells us why you don't need a lawyer, even a Christian lawyer, to handle your loan modification or debt settlement.  Banks are still working with people to modify their home loans, but he says it's unwise to do it yourself – it's still better to work with a professional.  And, Dan assures us that he's great at maintaining ongoing communication with all of his clients.  He told us that with Trinity, you'll pay nothing up front, and for those who have been burned in the past, he's even offering you a discount when it is time for him to get paid for the job he's already done.  And, he's got references of those he's already helped, so you can call people just like yourselves and talk to real customers and real clients of Trinity.
