Here's Jordan's winning limerick from 2006,
His name is Frank Pastore
He has a wonderful story
One flaw that I found
So very profound
He rides a Honda, instead of a Harley.
And Rebecca's winning limerick from 2007,
You know Patrick and Annie and Frank
Are believers we really must thank
As we've heard Faith and Reason
For many a season
Our award-winning Christian "think tank."
(1:54) The sad news story from NBC of the First Baptist Church pastor in Maryville, Illinois shot by a gunman yesterday (3/8/09).  [Just after the first service began, man approached the pastor and fired 4 shots from his .45, one bullet went through the Bible the pastor held up killing the pastor, the gun jammed, so he took out a knife to stab himself, in so doing he sliced two other church goers trying to subdue him.  Rev. 528-538Rich Stearns, the President of World Vision (worldvision.org), author of The Hole In Our Gospel (theholeinourgospel.com).  So, how does one go from CEO of the toy and game company Parker Brothers, to the CEO of America's fine china and crystal company Lenox, to the CEO of an organization that serves the poorest of the poor, World Vision?

558-608Ted Baehr, founder and publisher of Movie Guide Magazine (movieguide.org), and Chairman of the Christian Film and Television Commission.

Ted shares some expert advice to those wanting to get into Hollywood:  1) Remember that anyone can make it, 2) Don't stoop to conquer, keep your standards, and 3) Follow the Sherwood Baptist Church model, i.e., Facing the Giants and Fireproof, and do a film that fits your budget, don't always think you have to have a zillion dollar budget.  When thinking of a project or a script, remember Aristotle's advice, first comes the plot, then the character, then the dialog – it has to be a great drama, where good triumphs over evil, that is redemptive and a message of hope.  Ted says the best film schools in the country are USC, UCLA, and Chapman, in that order, and as for Christian schools, it's Biola, Pepperdine, and Regent.  If you want to be in pictures, get Ted's book So You Want to Be in Pictures?
