400-408 – • Fox News (1/9/09) Somali Pirates Reportedly Release Saudi Oil Supertanker.  The MV Sirius Star was seized November 15 and released today for $3 million dollars.  Over 100 ships came under siege just last year, and there are currently 300 ships being held for ransom.  In 2008, pirates raked in more than $30 million.
• AFP (1/8/09) US 5th Fleet announces new international anti-piracy force.  The AFP reports pirates raked in over $120 million in 2008.
• Edward N. Luttwak (1/9/09) Yes, Israel Can Win in Gaza:  Israel is significantly weakening Hamas – with Palestinian help.  Mr. Luttwak, a senior adviser at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, is the author of "Strategy: The Logic of War and Peace" (Belknap, 2002).

Jakes.  Brian's currently working on six films with his partner Michael Landon, Jr., and is perhaps best known for having produced and written over 250 episodes of Touched by an Angel, Evening Shade, Step by Step, and The Family Man, along with his many movie and television accomplishments.  He and his wife Patty have been married for 28 years, and enjoy five children, and are members of Saddleback.
