Zuhdi's family is from Syria, he was born and raised in Wisconsin, went to college on a Navy scholarship, served, and joined his father's practice in Phoenix. But after 911, when the world changed, he chose to fight political Islam. His new book is A Battle for the Soul of Islam: An American Muslim Patriot's Fight to Save His Faith (2012) (Amazon).
