400-408 – Andy Bales, CEO of the Union Rescue Mission (urm.org), talks about their Life Transformation program, and the 44 Day Devotional he's putting together.  BTW, pray for Andy's health, he's diabetic and needs both a kidney and a pancreas transplant.

413-423 – Nancy Pearcey, editor-at-large of The Pearcey Report (pearceyreport.com), is on the short list of the best evangelical minds in America.  She's written several books, including her wonderful The Soul of Science, her How Now Shall We Live?, and her Total Truth: Liberating Christianity from Its Cultural Captivity which won the 2005 ECPA Gold Medallion award.  Nancy was the founding editor of Chuck Colson's "Breakpoint," and for nine years was executive editor of the program, authoring more than 1,000 commentaries herself.  She's out with her latest Saving Leonardo: A Call to Resist the Secular Assault in Mind, Morals, & Meaning.

Nancy exposes the stealth secularism we've all been immersed in, and teaches us how to spot it, resist it, and overcome it.  She exposes how secular strategies are used by ruling elites to override the will of the American people.  How art, literature, movies, and media are used to channel secular worldviews deep into our minds and emotions through stories and images.  How moral issues like abortion, homosexuality, and the hook-up culture are shaped by secular worldviews that denigrate and disrespect the human body.  And she explains how two major forces within secularism have created a pincer movement to crush human dignity and liberty.

Politically correct secular doctrines have penetrated every area of our lives. They are in our schools where children are taught that moral standards are matters of personal preference. They are in our politics where marketing and manipulation substitute for rational persuasion. They are in our art, media—even churches—where sheer entertainment outweighs real-world truth.

Brigham Young University basketball star Brandon Davies was suspended from the team on Monday after he confessed to having pre-marital sex, a violation of the school's honor code, and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned the identity of his girlfriend.

Danica Mendivil is the girlfriend of Davies RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.  A close family member of Danica's, who did not want to be identified, exclusively confirmed to RadarOnline.com that Danica is in a relationship with Brandon.

"She is his girlfriend," the family member told RadarOnline.com.

Her family member also denied rumors that Davies' girlfriend is pregnant.

"She is not pregnant," they emphatically told RadarOnline.com.

Mendivil, 18, is currently a freshman on the volleyball team at Arizona State University.  She is a 2010 graduate of Pleasant Grove High School in Pleasant Grove, Utah.

Her bio on the Arizona State University women's volleyball website says she has a twin brother, Darrian, and the most exciting thing she did this summer was a "water balloon fight."

The site also asks "True or False: I would wear one of Lady Gaga's outfits to class" and she answers "False."

Brandon Davies, 19, has been dismissed from the number three ranked team for pre-marital sex for the rest of the season, but he is remaining at the school while his situation is considered by the Honor Code office.

Reports of Brandon Davies' girlfriend's possible pregnancy were first reported by Terezowens.com.
