Today we celebrate our "KKLA 12 Days of Christmas," where we've asked you guys (our listeners) to nominate those you know with special needs, so that we might be able to select 12 people for whom we're going to put a "little something extra" in their Christmas stocking this year, and today we all get to find out who they are! (Lisa shares how she had been homeless about 10 years ago, go out of that, went to school, got a job as a youth counselor, and 2 years ago injured her back, found out she had degenerative discs, the medication led to her getting bleeding ulcers, when her son was born he had a heart condition and later needed open-heart surgery at Children's Hospital. She still has her little two-foot tall Christmas tree from when she was homeless, and she's a regular KKLA listener).
