458-508 Aurelio Barreto, the founder and CEO of C28 Christian Stores and Not of This World (NOTW) Christian Clothing (c28.com).  As an immigrant from Cuba, Aurelio knew the value of hard work at a very young age.  By the time he was 21 years old he founded his first business and grew it to $3 million in revenues.  In 1987 he moved on to invent Dogloo, an igloo shaped dog house that was sold in the mass market.  After 10 years of running Dogloo Inc., Aurelio sold the business for millions yet had no inner peace or joy.  Depressed and without any purpose, Aurelio had contemplated suicide.  Through God's grace, he heard the gospel and responded to Jesus' invitation of salvation.  After much prayer, Aurelio was led by God to reach the youth at malls with the Gospel through C28 Christian stores.  Since opening its first store in 2001, C28 Christian Stores have expanded to 11 locations, an e-commerce site and its own brand of Christian apparel and accessories known as Not of This World Christian (NOTW) Clothing.  To date, over 14,000 people have been saved through the ministry of C28 and to God be all the glory!  Today he shares his testimony.

Here's my paraphrase of what Mark Gregston said yesterday, "We are coddling our children in the hope that they will be able to live comfortably in a zoo, when we should be preparing them for real life in the jungle of reality.  And we all know, that if you release zoo animals into the wild, they'll be the first to get eaten in the jungle."

• Fox News (4/26/2010) Obama Jumps Into 2010 Race With Appeal to Latinos, African-Americans, Women and Youth.

In a video to supporters, Obama urged those who helped get him elected in 2008 not to abandon Democrats in an election year that is shaping up to take a chunk out of the Democratic majority in Congress.

In the appeal, Obama says new voters who "powered our victory in 2008" need to "stay involved" in 2010.

"It will be up to each of you to make sure that the young people, African Americans, Latinos and women, who powered our victory in 2008 stand together once again," he said.

"If you help us do that -- if you help us make sure that first-time voters in 2008 make their voices heard again in November -- then together we will deliver on the promise of change and hope and prosperity for generations to come," he said.
