330-338Stacy Perman talks about her latest book In-N-Out Burger:  A Behind-the-Counter Look at the Fast-Food Chain That Breaks All the Rules (Stacy's HarperCollins site).  The first In-N-Out was opened in Baldwin Park on October 22, 1948 by Harry and Esther Snyder.  Harry died in 1976, and his son Rich took over, but Rich, a Christian, tragically died in 1993 after being married just a few months, and he had no children.  His older brother Guy, died in 1999 after battling drugs and depression for decades.  Esther died in 2006, and today the sole heir is 27-year-old Lynsi Snyder Martinez, Guy's only child.

428-437Candi Cushman, education analyst at Focus on the Family Action (citizenlink.com), and manager of The True Tolerance Project (truetolerance.org) – an online tool to educate and equip parents to engage their local school officials.  Candi profiles Kevin Jennings, Obama's "Safe Schools Czar," and leader for 13 years of GLSEN, where he promoted his radical homosexual agenda to:  enact one-sided policies that threaten religious liberties, use students as lobbyists to promote an adult, pro-gay agenda, and use bullying policies as leverage to mandate pro-gay curriculum that includes teaching children as young as five about homosexuality – while not giving parents the right to "opt out".
(:43) • Breitbart (10/6/09) Obama's 'Safe Schools Czar' Criticizes Schools For Promoting Heterosexuality.  "Kids are being aggressively recruited to become heterosexual in this country" – Kevin Jennings at a GLSEN event in Iowa in 2000.

458-508Jonathan Rose, with the Capitol Gold Group [(800) 510-9594, safeasgold.com], on gold hitting $1,040 an ounce today. Where's gold headed over the next two years?  How does gold preserve your wealth?  In your Gold Show, you refer to gold as "portfolio insurance," why?  What's the advantage of buying physical gold instead of stock in gold?  Is now a good time to add gold to your portfolio? Do you ever buy back the gold you sell through Capital Gold Group?
512-523Hugh Ross, founder and president of Reasons to Believe (reasons.org), is both an astrophysicist and a pastor, and author of over a dozen books, including his latest, Why The Universe Is The Way It Is, and he joins us with more evidence supporting the Creation Model as opposed to the Evolution Model.  BTW, his "Paradoxes" apologetics class is free and open to the public and held every Sunday at 11:15am at Sierra Madre Congregational Church.  Don't forget to sign up for his daily Today's New Reason to Believe email at reasons.org.
