Today we're partnering with the ministry of Angel Tree, a ministry that provides Christmas presents and the love of Jesus to children of prisoners all across the country. Last year, 450,000 children were given gifts, that's about one-third of all the 1.5 million children of incarcerated adults in the United States. Did you know 10 million young people know what it's like to have at least one parent incarcerated? Statistically, these are the most at-risk children in our country, and your gift can maybe change that.
Your gift of $50 will provide gifts to 4 of these children, and $100 will provide 8 children with gifts.
And, for each gift of $50, Angel Tree will send you their 2008 Edition Angel Tree Christmas ornament for you to put on your tree this Christmas!
You can also donate your used car, truck, boat or RV to Cars for Causes, who will change it into cash and send it to Angel Tree. When you call, just tell them know you want to donate a vehicle and they'll set it up!
