Mission Aviation Fellowship Fundraiser
• MAF serves over 800 organizations, and has been around for the past 65 years:  "If it's remote ministry, it there because of MAF."  Not only do they transport Bibles, study tools, translators, missionaries, teachers and pastors, they also transport medicine, antidotes, medical teams, nurses and doctors:  they are the emergency-room first-responders – the "9-1-1 of the jungle."  They even transport the materials to build wells, churches, schools, orphanages, and hospitals.  Every day they perform hundreds of medical emergency evacuations:  air lifting critically ill children, pregnant mothers, wounded brothers, snake-bit sisters, and the ailing elderly.  And they want to do better job in the largest MAF service area in the world: Papua, Indonesia.
• The Kodiak 100 is the first plane in history specifically conceived, designed, and built for missions!  It's built for short runways and to carry lots of cargo.  It carries twice the load, twice as far, and at half the fuel cost!  Unlike Cessnas that run on hard-to-find aviation fuel, the Kodiak runs on readily-available and right-now-half-the-cost jet fuel.
• $300 = 4 tickets to Curtain Call Dinner Theater
• The first two $1,000 gifts per hour = 2 nights on the beach at Sea Crest Resort in Pismo.
• $2,000 = $3,500 KKLA Advertising Package

1 (:64) – John Cutts has lived in Papua since he was 2, and is part of a missionary family that serves 130 churches in the remote highlands of Papua.  He gives us an overview of the work they do in Papua, including building schools, putting in water systems, etc., all with MAF planes.
2 (:38) – JC, "without MAF planes it would be impossible to do our work."
3 (:38) – JC, "we face life and death situations everyday, people could die without the work we do with the help of MAF."
4 (:35) – JC, "MAF saved the life of my mother when shot with an arrow, saved my life from a gunshot wound."
5 (:42) – JC, "A 3-day journey on foot is just 15 minutes by air, this helps us stay in touch with pastors in villages."
6 (:56) – JC, "We face medical emergencies everyday, we need MAF."
7 (1:27) – MAF Denny Hoekstra, "Woman having a problem delivering her baby."  (Her eighth baby, the previous 7 didn't survive.)
