400-408Jay Richards, with the Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty (acton.org), who holds a duel Ph.D. in philosophy and theology from Princeton, is the author of The Untamed God, The Privileged Planet, and the forthcoming The Christian Case for Capitalism, and was the executive producer of the documentary The Call of the Entrepreneur (Acton Media, 2007).  Acton's next documentary, The Birth of Freedom will premier in Washington, D.C., on June 19, 2008.  We touch on the temptation to place a "windfall profits tax" on Big Oil, the nexus of global warming alarmism and the push from both parties to institute a cap-and-trade program, as well as universal health care, same-sex marriage, and the threat of radical Islam.
