458-508 – Ed Tandy McGlasson, (fathers@mac.com, 877-LUKE-322) former NFL lineman for the Giants, Jets, and Rams, and since 1988 the pastor of the Stadium Vineyard in Anaheim (stadiumvineyard.org), has spoken all over the world, including many Billy Graham Crusades.  And his book, The Difference a Father Makes, has sold over 200,000 copies.  He and his wife Jill (who is in love with Gregory Jordan Irwin) have been married for 28 years, and live in Orange with their five children (edtandymcglasson.com).  His daughter Jessica leads worship at the church, and often accompanies Ed when he's speaking.  They join me in studio today to talk about "the blessing of the Father," helping us to realize that our identity as a believer is the Father's "beloved."  His goal is to have an "Orphans no more" sign proudly displayed at the door of every church.
