400-408Dave Barton, president and founder of Wallbuilders (wallbuilders.com), on the California Supreme Court's decision to deny a stay in their gay marriage decision.  David reported that the average same-sex marriage in the nine European countries that have legalized gay marriage lasted only 18 months with 8 extramarital partners during that time frame, while there was a resulting decline in the total number of marriages with out of wedlock births skyrocketing up 46%.
• LAT, California Supreme Court refuses to delay gay marriage.  They refuse to stay their May 15 ruling, and gay marriage becomes law in California at 5:00pm on Monday, June 16.  Expect thousands of marriage licenses to be issued on June 17.  Californians will vote on a constitutional amendment on Tuesday, November 4.
Does moral decline ever reverse?  If so, under what circumstances?  Revival!  Out of Second Chronicles and Kings there have been 4 revivals, and they always started with  "They chased the Sodomites out of the temple!"
"The study projects that the numbers will swell if voters reject the anti-gay-marriage initiative, forecasting that 51,320 gay California couples and 67,513 from out of state will marry in the state during the next three years.  Extrapolating from the study, based on census data and Massachusetts' experience after it permitted same-sex matrimony, the director of the institute -- which focuses on sexual orientation law and public policy -- said more than 20,000 weddings were anticipated by November."
MY ANALYSIS:  If only 2% of gays get married as they have when legal in other countries, and they are only 3% of the population, this comes out to 180,000 expected same-sex marriages.  (3% of 300M = 9M, and 2% of 9M = 180,000).  The Times is estimating "only" 118,833.  BTW, 180,000 is 0.0006 of the total population (3% of 2% of 300M).

• PetitionProject.org, Global Warming Petition Project: 31,072 American scientists have signed this petition, including 9,021 with PhDs.  David adds, that the man-made global warming side has just 2,500 scientists on the IPCC list, and that half of these disagree with how their names are being used to advance an agenda they don't fully agree with.  The alarmists want to spend $200B a year for the next 40 years in hopes of reducing the global temperature 0.3 degrees, but with that money in just one year, we could provide clean drinking water to every one of the 6 billion people on the planet and save millions of lives.  So, balance millions of lives we know we can save against 0.3 degrees that were guessing will decrease.  Good trade?

On Monday, Ahmadinejad said in Tehran that the "satanic power" of the United States faced destruction and that the Jewish state would soon disappear from the map, a theme he returned to on Tuesday.  "This will happen whether we are involved in it or not," he told a news conference at a U.N. food summit in Rome, adding that Israel was "doomed to go".

How will you deal with the coming increase in gay and lesbian PDA's?  Have you had to deal with it already?  Our kids are going to be way ahead of us on this since they will be getting pro-gay propaganda from kindergarten on, thanks to SB777.  How should a Christian handle this?  As in the Roman Empire, this is an opportunity for us to out-live and out-love the world so that they will want what we got.
